my *green* side

Sustainability and social responsibility are important factors in my business and in my life. Whenever possible, I provide my clients with sustainable design strategies, printing and paper options, and local business resources for additional services they might need.

In 2006, I began working with Green Drinks - Denver (a monthly networking event with a sustainable focus) as a graphic designer and have since moved into the role of primary organizer for the group as well. Over the last four years we have developed their identity, marketing materials, website and broadened their presence in the sphere of social media with a Facebook group, LinkedIn group and a Twitter page. Not only have we significantly expanded our network in the Denver Metro area, we also recently partnered with the ReDirect Guide and Green Spaces Colorado in an effort to become a more valuable resource, connect more people and better support and promote local and green businesses.

Through my work with Green Drinks, I’ve become closer to and much more involved with Denver’s sustainable community. I’ve had the opportunity meet and network with amazing people and to work on some exciting projects to promote it including the Denver Green Route map project and the Green Route Restaurant Tour.
